All Quiet in N. Korea Despite Missile Furor

North Korea remains quiet and peaceful as usual despite its alleged move to test-fire a ballistic missile making global headlines.

The Japanese daily Mainichi Shimbun on Monday reported from Pyongyang that North Korean media have apparently ignored the potential missile test since people are not talking about it.

A Mainichi reporter went to Pyongyang Saturday at North Korea's invitation to interview the relatives of North Koreans who were put under forced labor during Japanese colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula.

The reporter asked a North Korean man and a guide about the test but neither were aware of it.
