'N.K. Open to U.S. Envoy Lefkowitz's Visit'

North Korea is apparently open to the proposed visit to an inter-Korean industrial complex by special U.S. envoy for the North's human rights Jay Lefkowitz.

The South Korean Unification Ministry official in charge of the complex, Ko Gyoung-bin, told KBS Radio Thursday that North Korean officials have positively reacted to his offer to have Lefkowitz visit the facility to promote success of the joint project.

Lefkowitz said he wants to visit the industrial park despite his outspoken criticism of the conditions of North Korean workers there.
