South Korea struggled to a 0-0 tie with Cameroon in a friendly at the Suwon World Cup Stadium on Friday.

The South Korean side failed to pose a threat against a lackluster Cameroon that lacked the flair of world-class stars Patrick Mboma and Samuel Etoo.

The well-organized defense of the Sydney Olympic champions
neutralized the threat from powerful South Korea despite the
attacking of favorites Choi Yong-soo, Hwang Sun-hong and Seol
Ki-hyeon.

The two teams had the warm-up match ahead of the Confederations Cup to be staged from next Wednesday to June 10 in South Korea and Japan as a rehearsal for next year's World Cup finals.

Both Korea and Cameroon pressured each other from start of the
games, before a crowd of 30,000 spectators in the brand-new soccer
stadium.
