New national soccer coach Pim Verbeek will lead the national youth team’s match against its Japanese counterpart in November. It will be his first Korea-Japan match.

The Korea Football Association’s technical director Lee Young-moo said Tuesday the team will hold the friendly match in Seoul to prepare for the Doha Asian Games in December.

Verbeek is in charge of the national team for next year’s Asia Cup and the youth team consists of players under 23 years of age.
