Korea express chosen as logistics firm for world cup goods

The company said Korea Express Co. was selected Wednesday as the transportation firm for products bearing the 2002 World Cup emblem.
The company signed a contract with G & B World Co., which holds the exclusive license for selling products with the emblem of the soccer's premier event, to provide the transportation services for the goods.
Under the contract, Korea Express will engage in the entire management of logistics for the goods ranging from storage and wrapping to transportation and door-to-door delivery.
It also expects the designation will generate new sales of $7.72 million dollars by the end of next year.
