N.Korean Delegation Arrives in Busan for Talks

A North Korean delegation has arrived in Busan for the 19th inter-Korean Cabinet-level talks.

The delegation headed by Chief Cabinet Councilor Kwon Ho-ung arrived at the city's Gimhae airport around 4 p.m. on a direct flight from the North Korean capital Pyongyang.

Greeted by South Korean delegates at the airport, some 30 North Korean delegates headed directly to the Westin Chosun Busan, the main venue of the four-day talks.

The two sides will hold a plenary session Wednesday morning and are likely to express their respective positions on pending issues in a key note speech.

The meeting is the first inter-Korean ministerial talks after Pyongyang test-fired missiles last week.

The two sides have a final session Thursday before Pyongyang delegates return home Friday. The schedule is subject to change depending on the progression of the talks.
