KBS launches satellite TV for N. America

Korean-Americans in North America will be able to tune into Korean TV now.

K-T-E ... a U.S. subsidiary of the Korean Broadcasting System launched a round-the-clock satellite service beginning Friday.

TV Korea will relay KBS programs to ethnic Koreans in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The station located in Los Angeles will also provide English subtitles for second- and third-generation Korean-Americans.
