North Korea seems to have halted large-scale military training as it suffered significant damage nationwide from heavy rains last month.

Government sources said Tuesday that the number of filed training exercises in the North has been noticeably decreased since mid-July.

It believes that the North’s military facilities sustained significant damage and that its troops have been mobilized in relief efforts.

Sources also say that even the naked eye could see that many barbed wire fenced sections along the frontline areas are damaged or washed out.
