South Korean baseball player, Park Chan-ho, now active on the LA Dodgers US professional baseball team, won his 7th victory Tuesday by beating the Diamondbacks of Arizona 8 to 4.

Park allowed only 3 runs during the first seven innings and has so far led his team to 7 wins and four losses overall.
With the win, Park upped his winning streak to three games.

Park is scheduled to face the Anneheim, Calif. team on June 10th.

Koreans nationals overseas launch protest against Japan's textbook distortion(O)

Ethnic Koreans living overseas plan to launch campaigns at Japanese embassies and consulate offices in 150 cities over 70 countries across the globe on June 12th to protest Japan's distortion of history textbooks.

The campaigns, to be held under the auspices of international campaign headquarters for correcting the Japanese textbook distortions, will issue a statement calling on Japan to rectify the fabrication of history in Japanese middle schools history textbook.

The ethnic Koreans plan to point out in the statement the grave mistakes committed by Japan, reversing peace endeavors by the international community by glossing over its past atrocities and war crimes.
