S. Korea, EU to meet over shipbuilding dispute

South Korea and the European Union will hold a second round of negotiations to iron out shipbuilding disputes.

The Korean Embassy in Brussels said Wednesday that the talks will be held on June 20th in the Belgian city for two days. An embassy official said the talks could be extended if necessary.

The E-U threatened to bring the dispute to the World Trade Organization if it's not settled by the end of this month.

The two sides met for two days in Seoul last month.

The E-U alleges that South Korea subsidized the local shipbuilders to undercut European competitors, but South Korea is denying the charges.
