The Korea Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation has sent relief aid for North Korea’s flood victims.

A freighter carrying 40 tons of flour as well as clothing, worth some three-hundred-20 million won in total, departed from Incheon for the North’s Nampo Port on Wednesday.

The council said it had prepared the relief items through funds provided by council members.

The council’s aid package is the third to be delivered by civic groups since early this month.
