Koreas to Discuss Flood Aid Sat.

Red Cross officials of the two Koreas will discuss aid for North Korean flood victims in working level talks Saturday at the North's Mount Geumgang.

The Unification Ministry in Seoul says Pyongyang notified Wednesday that it accepts the meeting proposed by the South's Red Cross.

Three officials from each side will discuss provisions of food and materials for recovery work and the Seoul government will on Sunday announce the finalized amount and list of aid items to be sent to the North.

The current plan includes sending a hundred thousand tons of rice and heavy equipment for free.

With government officials expected to be among the delegation, the Saturday meeting is somewhat regarded as a resumption of the inter-Korean dialogue that has been stalled since the South-North ministerial talks in Busan last month.
