BOK Govenor to attend BIS meeting

The governor of the Bank of Korea will depart for Basel, Switzerland, Monday to attend an annual meeting of the Bank for International Settlements.

Forty-nine B-I-S member nations and central bank governors from non-member countries will attend the general meeting.

On the sidelines of the meeting, governors of ten central banks in the Asia-Pacific region, including Korea, China and Singapore, will hold talks Sunday to form an Asian Consultative Council.
