Officials, business leaders and citizens gathered at the COEX Center in southeastern Seoul to celebrate Information and Culture Day Friday.
In a speech during the ceremony read by the Information-Communications Minister, President Kim Dae-jung said the nation should make efforts to lead the era of information by strengthening information infrastructure and developing software and contents industries.
