Korea Telecom taps into entertainment sector with Michael Jackson

Korea Telecom (KT) said Monday it will advance into the entertainment industry through an alliance with the Michael Jackson-invested Korean game start-up.
KT and Cyonex Inc., into which the U.S. pop star invested US$2 million, will start service of the online game "Arcane" through the Web site of www.arcane.co.kr from Friday.
The operators plan to charge users $7.7 dollars per month.
Under the alliance, the telecom carrier will support the service's infrastructure and join Cyonex in sales and marketing activities for the game.
