Team Advances Hockey World Cup Semifinals

The national men's hockey team has advanced to the World Cup hockey semifinals in Germany, for a second straight time in the competition.

The team ranked second in Group B with a scoreless draw against host Germany, securing three wins and two draws.

The team will face Spain or Australia in Saturday’s semifinal.

The nation advanced to the semifinals in the 2002 tournament in Malaysia.
