The Korean National Red Cross says it will make its first delivery of relief equipment to North Korea on Wednesday.

Fifty eight-ton trucks, nine excavators, eleven wheel loaders and three rollers will be shipped from Incheon to the North's Nampo Port to aid flood relief efforts.

Two more shipments will follow next week and late next month.

From late last month through last week, the Red Cross sent to Pyongyang 36-thousand tons of rice aid and a few thousand tons of iron rods and cement. The entire aid shipment including equipment will conclude by early November.
