Korean fishery products gaining popularity In China

According to the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ministry Monday, Korean fishery exports to China are once again on the rise.
The Chinese bought 150 tons or 2.2 million dollars worth of flatfish from Koreans last year. The number was half of the 337 tons worth 3.3 million dollars exported to China in 1999 but 50 percent above the 100 tons valued at 1.5 million dollars purchased in 1998. Exports of fishery products to China totaled 93,134 tons worth 84 million dollars last year, nearly doubling the figure registered in 1999, but imports form China amounted to 283,000 tons, down from 295,700 tons in 1999.
