Satellite communications company PanAmSat Corporation has signed an agreement with South Korea's Dacom Corporation, iSkyCom and Onse Telecom to provide satellite connectivity to five major Korean broadcasters.
PanAmSat will be distributing Korean programming throughout Asia and the Americas via four satellites.
PanAmSat is offering satellite service to Korean broadcasters indirectly through Dacom, iSkyCom and Onse because it does not have a license to broadcast in Korea.
