The government has confirmed that some two-hundred-20 South Koreans currently in North Korea are all safe.

The Unification Ministry says that as of Tuesday morning some 14-hundred-50 at Mount Geumgang, six hundred-20 at the Gaesong Industrial Complex and a hundred-20 in Pyongyang are all well.

Thirteen South Korean vessels and eight-hundred vehicles have also been accounted for.

No unusual signs have been detected within the communist state or from its troops stationed at the inter-Korean border.

But the government says continued watchfulness will ensure the safety of South Koreans currently on the other side of the border.
