Former soldiers have returned to South Korea, whom they fought to defend under a U.N. flag ... more than half a century ago.
About two hundred Korean War veterans are from the United States, Australia and four other countries, which sent troops to defend South Korea from the Communist aggression of North Korea.
The veterans will tour the truce village of Panmunjom and the Korean War Memorial in central Seoul. They will also attend ceremonies marking the 51st anniversary of the Korean War on Monday and join Korean veterans in a car parade through downtown Seoul.
The Korean War broke out on June 25th, 19-50 and ended in July 19-53, in a truce ... leaving South and North Korea still technically at war.
