A Korean-Americans to become Vice Mayor of LA

A Korean-American has become a vice mayor of the city of Los Angeles for the first time in the city.
The LA City mayor-elect James Han appointed a Korean descent; Don Ryu, a community service chief of the LA Prosecution Office, as the vice mayor.
It is a four-year term in charge of dispensing services to residents, and the voters in the city of LA.
Mayor Han, who was elected as LA mayor on June 5th, had promised to appoint Korean-Americans to be high LA city officials if he become LA Mayor.
