A second North Korean cargo ship is being held by Hong Kong authorities.

A Hong Kong source said local maritime officials have placed an embargo on the Kangnam-Five after an inspection turned up safety violations upon its arrival Wednesday.

Like the Kangnam-One, a North Korean vessel detained early Tuesday morning, the Kangnam-Five's cargo hold was empty and no banned items were found.
