Tennis stars Roger Federer of Switzerland and Rafael Nadal of Spain on Monday arrived in Korea for an invitational exhibition match in Seoul.

In a joint news conference following their arrival at Incheon International Airport, Federer and Nadal on Monday pledged strong performances in the Tuesday match hosted by a domestic sports marketing company.

Federer, who finished the season as the world's top-ranked player with 12 titles and eight million dollars in winnings, said he was very excited to play Nadal.
