Meanwhile, the main opposition Grand National Party is demanding that the government allow Hwang Jang-yop to visit the United States for a Congressional hearing.
A G-N-P spokesman accused the government of trying to block Hwang's visit. The spokesman said Hwang must be allowed to visit Washington to let people know about North Korea and help improve the human rights situation in the North.
