Kim Un-Yong given No. 1 slot for IOC presidency

Kim Un-yong, the South Korean candidate for president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), was given the number 1 slot Monday on the ballot sheet among five candidates.
The positions on the ballot were decided through lottery, giving Dick Pound of Canada number 2, Jacques Rogge of Belgium number 3, Pal Schmitt of Hungary 4 and Anita DeFrantz of the United States the fifth slot.
The election for the new IOC president will be held in Moscow Monday.
Kim, head of the Korean Olympic Committee (KOC) at home and president of the General Association of International Sports Federations abroad, is currently an executive member of the IOC.
