Fourteen local pro soccer clubs have decided not to lend their players to the national Olympic team for a goodwill match in Qatar.

Teams comprising the K-League discussed the issue at a general meeting Tuesday.

As a result, the Korean national Olympic team is unlikely to participate in an international competition to which eight Olympic qualifiers were invited. The team was scheduled to leave for Qatar on Tuesday.
