Korean boats to start Kuril fishing next month

Korean boats will start fishing off the Southern Kurils early next month.
Fishing was scheduled to start last Sunday, but postponed due to low water temperature in the waters.
The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries said that the delay has nothing to do with the fishing dispute between Korea and Japan.
South Korea signed an agreement with Russia late last year, which allows it to send 26 boats to fish for 15-thousand tons of saury in waters off the Russian-held Kuril Islands until November 15th.
