The nation's main contingent of athletes participating in the Winter Asian Games has left for the games' venue in Changchun, China.

The 164-member team is aiming to win at least ten golds and nab second place overall as it did in the two previous winter Asiad events.

South Korean Olympic Committee chief Kim Jung-kil encouraged the athletes, pledging his efforts in inter-Korean discussions to field a unified team and to win the right to host the 2014 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
