The Czech Republic has decided not to issue visas to North Koreans seeking to work in Czech factories.

The move comes after international human rights organizations charged that North Korean workers' human rights were being violated in the Central European country.

The Washington Times reported that the Czech government will also not extend visas for current North Korean workers.

Some four-hundred North Koreans are working in the Central European country.

The U.S. State Department and international human rights activists believe that the workers are under tight surveillance by agents dispatched from Pyongyang and that the North Korean government seizes half of their wages.
