N. Korean Youth Soccer Team to Train in S. Korea

North Korea’s national youth soccer team will hold its spring training in South Korea for a month.

Vice President Kim Jae-han of the South’s Korea Football Association said that the North Korean athletes will arrive on the resort island of Jeju on March 20th after finishing their high-altitude training in Kunming, China.

The team comprising athletes 17 years of age and under will stay in the city of Seoguipo for ten days and hold a friendly match with the South Korean national youth team.

North Korea came in second at the FIFA-sponsored event last year and is aiming to advance to the semifinals again this year.
