Some 300 youths and students of South Korea and Japan will hold a five-day forum on history, human rights, peace and Asia's future in Osaka, Japan, starting from next Thursday.
The South Korean committee of the Korea-Japan Youth Forum said Friday the forum would include a panel discussion about Japan's distorted history textbooks for use in secondary education next year.
It added the panel discussion will likely result in the announcement of a joint Korea-Japan action plan against the distorted history textbooks.
