The Red Cross organizations of the two Koreas will resume building a reunion center for separated families on March 21st.

Construction was halted in July last year following Pyongyang's missile tests the same month.

In a joint statement Saturday, Red Cross officials said South Korea will give the North this month 400-thousand dollars worth of materials and equipment for a video reunion center.

The two Koreas agreed to build the center in their first Red Cross talks in June 2000. Construction began in August 2005 and is now 30 percent complete.
