Marathoner Lee Wins Seoul Int'l Marathon

South Korea’s Lee Bong-ju won the Seoul International Marathon on Sunday.

Lee crossed the finish line with a time of two hours, eight minutes and four seconds, beating Kenya’s Paul Kiprop Kirui who finished 25 seconds behind Lee.

Lee, who won the Boston Marathon in 2001 and the gold at the 2002 Asian Games in Pusan, said his efforts to stay in good shape over the past few months had paid off. He vowed to reap good results in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
