NK's Youth Soccer Team in SK for Training

North Korea’s under-17 soccer team has arrived in South Korea for a month of training.

The 32-member team arrived at Incheon International Airport early Tuesday and flew to Jeju Island where they will begin training.

It marks the first time for a North Korean team to visit the nation for training instead of match play.

The North’s team will play in the FIFA U-17 World Championship, set to open in South Korea this August.

The team ranked second in last year’s Asian youth soccer championship.
