The two Koreas on Wednesday will resume building a reunion center for separated families.

South Korea’s Red Cross said Tuesday that 45 workers from the South will leave the next day for the North’s Mount Geumgang to restart the main phase of construction.

The Red Cross said that more workers and equipment will be dispatched to the site at the end of the month, with a target for completion by the first half of next year.

Construction was halted last summer following Pyongyang's missile tests in July.

In two days of inter-Korean Red Cross talks which ended Saturday at Mount Geumgang, the two countries agreed to resume construction on March 21st.
