Japanese electronics giant Sony Corporation says it will join up with Samsung Electronics to share technology on Sony's new memory chip.
In a statement, the companies said they signed a memorandum of understanding that Samsung will explore the use of the Memory Stick in its products and also jointly develop new products.
Sony's memory stick is a chewing-gum-sized memory device, which uses flash memory in different versions ranging from a 8-megabyte stick to a 128-megabyte stick.
