North Korea's navy is confirmed to have developed and deployed high-speed air cushion warships near the frontline.

A military source in Seoul said Sunday that the North has deployed about 130 landing craft to transport personnel.

The source said North Korea has developed air cushion battleships with its own technology in a move to target South Korean high-speed warships

The North Korean vessels are 38 meters long and 12 meters wide with a top speed of 90 kilometers an hour.

They have 56 mm and 30 mm machine guns at the head and the stern, which is enough to launch a blitz attack against South Korean war vessels.
