The Joint Chiefs of Staff said Monday that a 14-member U.S. military friendship delegation arrived in Seoul Sunday for a four-day visit.
The delegation will visit Gen. Cho Yung-kil, chairman of the JCS Tuesday.
They are also scheduled to visit the Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command, the truce village of Panmunjom and the Joint Security
Area (JSA), the third Korean army division and the seventh U.S.
Air Force headquarters during their stay.
The 14 officers are all members of the Capstone Group, an educational program for soon-to-be promoted generals at the U.S.
Defense University.
U.S. Forces send all members of the group on a three-week tour of major U.S. allies in Asia and Europe within two years of their announced promotions.
A total of 846 Capstone Group members have toured South Korea since 1985.
