The two Koreas will open working-level talks on Friday to prepare for the inter-Korean railway test runs slated for next month.

The two sides will meet in the North’s border city of Gaesong to discuss the materials needed for the railway tests as well as the method for providing materials and equipment.

The two-day talks will also focus on military safety guarantees, a prerequisite to holding the trial runs which are scheduled for May 17th.
