Uri Party Lawmakers Brief on N.K. Trip

Five lawmakers from the pro-government Uri Party has given a briefing on their four-day trip to North Korea.

They arrived Sunday at Incheon International Airport after visiting Pyongyang and held a news conference.

The delegation head Kim Hyuk-kyu said North Korea was very positive over improving relations with the United States, and that he will deliver Pyongyang's stance to Washington.

Kim also said Pyongyang fully understands the delay in the transfer of the North's funds from a Macau bank, and pledged to implement initial nuclear disarmament steps under the February 13th agreement after the transfer is resolved.

The delegation will also hold briefings on its trip to President Roh Moo-hyun and the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.
