Officials from the two Koreas met Wednesday in the North Korean border city of Gaesong to exchange passenger lists for historic cross-border railway tests to be held the next day.

North Korea's list for the Gyeongeui Line includes Kwon Ho-ung, Pyongyang's chief delegate for inter-Korean ministerial talks, and Vice Railway Minister Kim Chol. Its passengers on the Donghae Line include Railway Minister Kim Yong-sam and Chu Tong-chan, the North Korean chairman of an inter-Korean economic cooperation committee.

Most of the North Korean passengers are government officials involved in inter-Korean cooperation or railway affairs. The group also includes nine reporters.

North Korean passengers on the Gyeongeui Line will attend a ceremony Thursday morning at the South’s Munsan Station to mark the historic cross-border test run.
