7 Nations to Jointly Produce TV Program

Seven Asian nations are pooling efforts to jointly produce a TV documentary program.

The Korean Broadcasting Institute said Tuesday that the seven participants in the project are South Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Mongolia and Singapore.

The institute said that with the project, South Korea aims to share the cultural diversity of the Asian region and form a partnership among Asian nations to spread Korean pop culture around the world.

The nation’s two major broadcasters KBS and EBS will participate in the three-billion won deal to produce a 20-episode documentary series introducing culture, tourism and industries of the seven countries.
