13th Seoul Int'l Book Fair Brings Books from 28 Nations

The 13th Seoul International Book Fair has opened in Seoul for a six-day run under the slogan, a “World Connected by Books.”

Organized by the Korean Publishers Association, the event has drawn publishers and book stores from 28 countries, including the United States and Japan, as well as some five-hundred-20 copyright agencies.

The event will also provide opportunities for readers to meet with renowned writers, including futurist Alvin Toffler and Korean novelist Park Wan-seo.

The book fair will also include an array of special events, including an exhibition of books recommended by famous figures, poetry recitals and some North Korean film screenings.
