Navy Warns against NK Provocation in West Sea

The nation’s military has warned North Korea against acts of provocation in the West Sea.

The Navy issued a statement urging the North to stop trespassing over the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the West Sea, saying that North Korean vessels had crossed the line into South Korean waters four times since January.

It said the South Korean Navy was prepared to act decisively in case of a provocation.

Meanwhile, the nation’s military expressed serious concerns over what it called the North Korean Navy's irrational claims and provocative statements regarding the NLL.

Recently, Pyongyang has made a series of aggressive statements claiming that South Korean naval vessels had encroached upon its territorial waters.
