Hollywood blockbuster movies have dominated the nation's box offices in terms of advance ticket sales for the past seven weeks.

According to online ticket seller Maxmovie, “Ocean’s 13” topped this week’s advance sales.

Previously, “Spider-Man Three” took the top spot for three weeks from the first week of May. It was replaced by “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” and “Shrek the Third."

Maxmovie attributed the popularity of American films not only to their massive scale but also to high viewer ratings.
