The U.S. State Department has stressed that North Korea must implement the six-way nuclear agreement as more than 20 million dollars of the 25 million in North Korean assets held at Macao's Banco Delta Asia have been transferred to Russia for the North to collect.

During a news conference Saturday, department spokesman Sean McCormack said that the other five parties to the six-way talks will also implement their obligations before the agreed deadline.

He said, however, that it cannot be confirmed whether the North Korean assets that left the Macao bank have reached their final destination.

McCormack said that it is up to North Korea to confirm their receipt as the transfer wasn't made directly from the BDA.
