Russia's Interfax news agency says that North Korea plans to freeze and seal its nuclear facilities in Yongbyon by the end of next month.

Interfax cited a North Korean diplomatic source as saying that the country's technicians predict it will take a month to shut down the nuclear reactor.

The source hoped that the facilities would be sealed by the end of July.
