North Korea may allow American tourists to its "Arirang" mass games performance, which kicks off in August.

Beijing-based Koryo Tours announced on its Web site Monday that the Arirang gala will run from August first to October tenth. The agency noted that such opportunities to visit the North are rare for U.S. visitors, and claims to provide in its "VIP" packages the best seats for the mass games, as well as newer transportation, better quality food, accommodations and guides.

The travel agency said that group tours for foreigners will be provided eight times between August fourth and September eleventh with a four-day trip costing 15-hundred-90 euros or some two million Korean won. Premium packages are 22-hundred-90 euros, plus the price of mass games tickets.
