South and North Korea will resume working-level talks this week to discuss cooperation in light industry and natural resource development.

The Unification Ministry in Seoul said Wednesday that the two-day talks will be held in the North Korean city of Gaesong on Thursday.

The first meeting held early last month ended without progress as the two sides failed to narrow differences on the list of and prices for industrial materials the South is to provide the North for the right to develop the communist country's natural resources.
